Anywho, hello.

My birthday was yesterday. woop, woop. It was pretty chill. During this past weekend, I managed to do a couple of firsts. First time rock climbing and first time tailgating at a horse racing event. Actually, the tailgating and horse racing event is like the whole two stones with one bird kind of thing because I've never done any kind of tailgating before and I've never been to a horse racing competition.

Watching Jimmy Fallon x The Roots latest recreation of a popular song (Miley Cyrus' We Can't Stop) made me remember of a time when Jimmy debuted his first music video on MTV. Back in 2002. That's right. 0-2. Y'know, when music videos were actually shown on MTV. Dag. Making the Video just popped up in my head. Gone are the days.

Tastemaker Thursdays at Mosiac District

Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to take a style tour of the Mosaic District, located in Fairfax, VA. It's a mixture of top, locally ranked independent fashion boutiques, unique restaurants, awesome entertainment choices, and, of course, living options which includes luxury apartments, lofts, penthouses and townhomes.

To show folks what Mosaic District has to offer, Tastemaker Thursdays was created. Tammy got an invite and brought me and Wave along. Thanks, Tammy! Tastemaker Thursdays is a chance to check out five boutiques/shops in the Mosaic District and get to know their business a tad bit better. Before getting started, we met up with the host of the tour at Angelika Lounge, located in the Angelika Film Center, for drinks.
