What I Wore in Southampton

As promised, the looks I wore in Southampton

This swimsuit is an oldie but goodie from Monif C. The mesh netting side cutouts are unexpected but fun. One of these days, I'll rock it as a bodysuit with jeans and an edgy jacket to layer.

You wouldn't look at this Eloquii dress and come away with it being sporty. But thanks to the athletic stripes on the ribbed arm cuffs, the dress can work perfectly with a pair of sneakers. I decided to rock it with lace gladiator sandals because as much as I want to still be a member of the athleisure community, I'd still associate sneakers with super duper casual outfits. But I gave it a try here, here, and here! Also, looking back at those photos, it's a clear reminder that I need a new pair of sneakers.

Aah. The midi dress that continues to be a head scratcher. If you look here where I purchased this ASOS Curve yellow number, you'll see the v-neck of the yellow slip is completely hidden under the dress. So much so, it appears to be pinned down. I tried my damndest to accomplish the same thing, all to no avail. Whatever. It's still a gorgeous bright yellow dress! Here's a better close up of the print here

Another Eloquii dress. This time cold shoulder. It came with a tie belt but I removed it because it's an unnecessary feature. You'd think green is my favorite color or something based off this post. But nope. It's still purple.

Finally, the outfit that I wore back-to-back during the last two days of the trip. Why? I mean...why not! The shorts are thrifted, the oversized boyfriend's shirt and mule slides are from Torrid. I was all about comfort.

And there you have it.
