Pants are just not my thing. Believe it or not, I'd rather wear jeans than pants.
Jeans (in particular, stretch jeans) hold in all the annoying areas of my tummy. Pants, on the other hand, exposes them fully.
Granted, this could all be in my head. Or not.
I've recently discovered peg pants from one of my favorite online stores. Based off the photos, I could tell the fit was right up my alley: fitted at the waist, wide at the hips (!!!), tapers down to the ankle. Plus, the obi tie belt added a very cool touch. So, I copped it in black. LOVED IT. Then immediately went back to the site to cop the peg pants in forest green (currently sold out; womp womp). My only mistake was sizing down; I should've stuck with a 22, similar to the black pants. Doing so didn't bring down the look, per se, but the fit would've been more on point.
Anywho, I'm convinced this style of pants were made for those who are fuller around the waist area. Like me!
