Athleisure Track Pants

This is post is sponsored by Catherines. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Athleisure is a trend that's pretty much here to stay. And I don't think I've played enough with this trend save for the occasional sneakers with a pretty skirt.

So what's a better way to start then with track pants!

Okay, not actual track pants. But Catherines was definitely inspired because the Straight Leg Pant with Side Piping was made for absolute comfort. It's pull-on with an elastic waistband, has a good amount of stretch, and at a great length. There's a coin pocket but I wished the pants came equipped with actual side pockets. Even still, it's a great item to own. The pants come in navy blue, as well.

To play with the 'leisure' side, I styled the pants with the Crane Print Georgette Buttonfront Top. Since it's so airy and lightweight (two thumbs up!), I tucked it into the pants for a bit of structure. I'm already in love with this blouse because it's been worn to work a couple of times. Details like the 3/4 sleeves, notch neckline, and split side hem gives the blouse an effortless vibe.

This was such a fun outfit to put together! It's not my usual style but it's a good thing to step out of my zone every once in a while. I'm excited to try more athleisure looks. A quick glance on Catherines website and I already have an outfit in mind: Classic Jean Jacket (or even a bomber jacket!) + Open Terrace Dress with a stylish pair of sneakers.

The possibilities are endless.
