Two-Piece Shorts Set

With warmer weather comes the need and desire for your legs to have a lot of breathing room. This is where shorts come to play. But why not try something different with a pair of shorts, like say, a two-piece matching shorts set? Shorts paired with a matching top or blazer.

Or in this case, a kimono jacket.

And depending on the fabric, it can easily transition into the colder months with the right pairing of tights and footwear. Take for instance my outfit: While the shorts are clearly a spring/summer item (recently paired the shorts with an slightly oversized black sheer top to wear at the Backstreet Boys concert on a hot hazy night), I already find myself envisioning the kimono jacket worn during the upcoming fall season layered on top of a long sleeved turtle neck and a pair of jeans or knit skirt.
