Deep Into The News

Event: Newseum
Summary: Last Sunday, Jessica and I decided to fulfill our life long dream to visit the Newseum. All I gotta say is that this is one of THE best museums in Washington, DC. Six floors of awesome-ness. Blown away...ab-so-freakin-lute-ly blown away. Worth every twenty-one dollars and ninety-five cents. We were told by the guide that the best way to experience the Newseum is to start from the top (6th floor) and work our way down. And that is exactly what we did. Our day would've ended perfectly if we had gotten the chance to eat at Wolfgang Puck's The Source restaurant, which is next door. But it is closed on Sundays. Hmmph.

Took the Metro to the nearest stop to the Newseum.
When I got off the escalator,  I was greeted by  this open area beauty.
I am reminded almost everyday why I love DC.

Before I continue, let's talk a bit about my outfit, shall we?

Blouse: Lane Bryant, Jeans: Forever 21+, Purse: Target, Sandals:  Evans,
Scarf/Camisole: n/a, Earrings: vintage, Necklace: Forever 21

I am really into the sheer look. I totally forgot about this sheer blouse I had. Underneath, I wore a black lace camisole. At times I felt okay, at other times I felt really self-conscious. I even asked Jessica if I was exposing too much. She was like, "It's too late to change now!" But she reassured me that I was fine.

Now, back to the photos.
