MD Blogger Bash

The MD Blogger Bash event, hosted by State of Maryland Tourism brought together MD bloggers to network with the counties tourism officials. Their goal is to foster an environment for a meaningful connection between the two groups.

Yes, as much as I love going to blog related events in DC, I equally enjoy attending blog related events in MD, too.

MD Blogger Bash took place at the Cylburn Arboretum, 20 minutes from Downtown Baltimore. Tables were set up around the room with counties tourism representatives eager to tell to us what's new in their counties - the latest events and attractions.

It was nice to walk from table to table, talking with the representatives and getting to know a little bit more about Maryland counties. There's more to Maryland then just PG County, Montgomery County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Maryland is one big state filled with a lot of history and a lot of activities to get into. For example: check out Maryland's Scenic Byways.

Thank you State of Maryland Tourism for this event. And a special shout-out goes to Whitney for giving me the heads up. Finally, I hope to show you more of the Free State through events, staycations, and my usual trek of visiting museums, tourist areas, and historical sites.
