Open-Front Sweater - Old Navy Turtleneck - Old Navy (similar here) Faux Suede A-line Skirt - Torrid Brogue Loafers- Sole Diva Mirrored Sunglasses - Sunglass Spot Embellished Clutch - boohoo |
I've always liked the look of a black turtleneck with a (faux) suede mini or a-line skirt and oxfords. So when I copped this skirt (styled it here last summer), it was always in the back of my mind to wear it with a turtleneck. Along with this combo, I topped it with a thick open-front sweater, going up a size for an oversized feel. Burgundy brogue loafers were worn instead of oxfords. A layered look that works in this up and down weather we've been experiencing of late. And how well does the embellished clutch goes with the printed tribal-ish sweater? Even I was surprised at how well it worked. Such a cool pattern play.
Also, this is the first outfit post of 2017. My bad for the delay.
But I'm back, baby.
