I think it's time to go back to "shopping" in my closet. For the past 2 months my wallet has been yelling at me, "Y U NO HAVE RESTRAINT?!!!"

*le sigh*

Anywho, I've been so impressed with my haul I decided to do a post about it. I was teetering on making this a video post because I did buy quite a few items and posting pictures would make this a long ass post. But I'm still iffy on the whole talking, trying to look like a natural in front of the video thing. One of these days it'll happen. Not today, though. *smiles*

I've been looking at the maxi dress ever since it came out during the spring time. I patiently waited...and waited...and waited for it to go on sale. Either ASOS missed the opportunity to add it to their clearance section or it's just a very popular item because it stayed the same price. So, I decided to get it - full price. Meanwhile, look! Another pink item! Remember, I don't care much for pink. But there was no way I was NOT going to buy this kaftan dress...on sale.

Last Saturday, Cee and I hit up NYC for a day trip. On the itinerary? The Alexander McQueen exhibit (next post) and shopping. The only store I really wanted to hit up was ReDress. I've heard so much about it through the plus-size fashion blogs I follow. ReDress is not only a consignment store but it also sells premiere vintage clothing. It is exclusively for plus-size women ranging from sizes 14 and up (vintage 10 and up). There are no words to express how fabulous this store is. No words. All I can say is that whenever you get the chance to be in Brooklyn, visit this clothing haven. You will not be disappointed. As you can tell from the above pictures, I kind of went apeshit in there. It was worth it.

We also went to Buffalo Exchange. As we were walking around, my eyes fell upon this beauty. I was completely unaware that Cee's eyes fell upon it, too. Before I could even stretch out my hand to pick it up, Cee snatched grabbed it. Oh dear. For the next hour, I kept sideeye-ing her and looking longingly at the precious bag. Finally, Cee saw the despair in my eyes and gave it to me. VICTORY!

I was looking for some sheer blouses because I'm addicted to them at the moment. I decided to visit a place that, quite honestly, intimidates me: eBay. I only use eBay to sell my clothes (here) or look for electronics. I hear stories or read posts on how much fun eBay shopping is and I'm like (-__-) But I decided to give it a shot and guess what? I bought some sheer blouses.

I went into Walmart with the intention of buying a camera. I came out with a camera and this funky, geometrical shirt. The print immediately caught my eye. It came as a twinset. I nicely cut out the spaghetti strapped black tank attached to it.

Well, that's all folks. I warned you guys it was going to be a long post. Huh? I didn't warn you? Ah well.
