Taste of DC

Event: Taste of DC
Where: Pennsylvania Ave NW

Summary: I had a great time at Taste of DC. It was my first time going. Met up with Afro Style and her family there. This event had everything for everyone: food tastings, wine tastings, beer tastings, street performances, protests, games for the kids and some concerts.

I got to debut my Old Navy vest. Funny enough, it was delivered to me about 30mins before I headed out the door. I was thisclose to wearing a red blazer then BAM! a package from ON appeared on my doorstep. Talk about right timing. You see, I've been seeing this little beauty pop up here and there in the blogsville world for quite some time. I would stare at it with stars in my eyes. I was in love. I knew I had to cop it...immediately. I was not going to let another popular item from ON pass me by like I did with this little beauty. iWept. Anywho, due to the insane sale Old Navy was having on their website last week, I decided to get the vest in their two colors, light brown and green. The vest was already on sale (reduced from $34.94 to $25). Then add 30% discount ON was offering and the total cost was $37.10 (tax included, S&H was free). Yep, for two vests. I was satisfied. I will completely ignore the fact that my brother, who came to visit, said I look like a safari photographer. That boy is always on joke time.

Vest: Old Navy, Blouse/Shoes/Ring: Avenue, Jeans: Forever 21+, Bag: Forever 21

Alrighty, enjoy the rest of the pictures!

Some dude dressed in drag. Wished I took him facing the camera, though.
