Celebrating Women Blogger Reception

Over the weekend, I was invited to attend an intimate event, Celebrating Women Blogger Reception at Last Call by Neiman Marcus at Potomac Mills. I have not been to Potomac Mills (an outlet mall) in well over a decade so I was pretty geeked to head out there (it doesn't take much for me to geek out). We were given a presentation of fall trends from stylist Lani Inlander. After the presentation, the general manager of Last Call, Tom Boiles, told us about future deals, promotions and events that will take place at his store. Finally, we were given a tour of the mall's Fashion District by Caroline Berry Green who is the Director of Marketing & Business Development. The Fashion District includes some great stores like Bloomingdale's, Coach Factory, Michael Kors, True Religion, Nordstrom Rack, etc. We were treated to refreshments, light food and a gift bag which included a coffee table book, Reflection of a Man: The Photographs of Stanley Marcus.

Wellst, coming up on Sept. 22nd, Potomac Mills is hosting a huge event, Celebrating Women Runway. It will feature a fashion show hosted by Lani Inlander, complimentary refreshments, wine tasting and live music entertainment. Now here's the fun part! The first 50 guests that RSVP to this event will not only be treated like a VIP with a reserved seating at the runway show but also will get a $20 American Express/Simon giftcard and a swag bag!

If you're in the DC area (specifically in Northern Virginia) or you will be in town that day, RSVP to rware@simon.com by September 14th! Once you get to the check-in table, an organizer will ask who you to the event. And you will tell that person it was that pretty lady Vivi of Heart, Print & Style. *winks*

Now, unto the photos!
