This time around I went to my first DewdropDC swap event. This would've been my second time but that's another story for another day (And, as usual, it involves me mixing up the dates. Like I said, for another day). It was held at the Hillyer Art Space. I brought along my sister and friend who truly enjoyed themselves. And by that I mean, they each won a raffle draw (bag and bracelet cuff, respectively). And by that I mean, they racked UP. Both from the swap and pop-up shops. Lucky. Speaking of pop-up shops, there were a lot of vendors in attendance like Esther Woo Vintage, EE Cuffs, Carnelian Boutique, Elan Renegade and so much more. Sweet Destiny's Bakery Boutique, Red Velvet, and Cakes by Ryan satisfied our sweet tooth. There was also a fashion show featuring three awesome DC bloggers: Waverly, Meaghan and Naja. The clothes used for the show were straight from the swap. Pretty impressive.

What's a swap without a little charitable giving on the side? All remaining clothing items were donated to Greater Goodwill of Washington. Also, a percentage of the proceeds were given to American Red Cross to help those who were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

If you live in the DC area, I'd suggest that you check out the next DewdropDC swap event. It will be definitely worth your time.

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my lil' ol' blog. Truly means a lot to me.
