It's been awhile since I've entered a Forever 21 store. Especially, the one here in DC. It's right in the heart of the city - downtown. It's huge. It's above a metro station. It's hectic and frantic and crazy and insane and overwhelming. I try to avoid it at all costs. But one day last week, I was feeling bold. Turns out, I picked a great day to go because more than half of the store was on clearance with an extra 50% off. Score.
Speaking of score(d), I got some great items including this Worldly Poncho Sweater from the plus size section (not on sale). But I didn't care. At $27.80, I thought it was a good price.
Yes, Forever 21 is known for being the place to find trendy, quick-n-easy fashion. Not everyone's cup of tea. I get it. I mean, even when I'm passing a rack holding tops with words like 'Twerk' (Please o please, let that word die in '14.), and 'Swag' (I was hoping this word would've died in '13. I guess not.) inscribed on it, I grimace and begin to wonder, "Why am I here again?" But every now and then, Forever 21 possess some jewels in their treasure box.
