Taste of DC with Chase

This is a sponsored post but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Remember when I mentioned that JPMorgan Chase has been promoting its new presence around the DC area and would pop up soon at another fun event that represents what makes DC the best? Well, I got to hang with Chase again at the Taste of DC!

Chase is officially here in the nation's capital. Branches will be in bustling neighborhoods like Anacostia and Columbia Heights. Plus, there are branches outside of the city, too, including Bethesda (MD) and Clarendon (VA). Interested to see what a branch looks like and offers up close? The community is invited to an open house at McPherson Square on Tuesday, November 13, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Visit www.chase.com/dc for more details.

I attended Taste of DC years ago (here) and had such a great time, so I was excited to be invited by Chase to experience it again. This year's offering was no different. Even with the constant rain. And I do mean constant. But that didn't stop the folks from enjoying the variety of vendors and live music. Also, the Audi Field venue provided a lot of coverage.

If one wanted to stay completely dry while having a chance to eat, Chase provided a VIP Lounge for all its customers with a Chase debit or credit card. Inside, warmth was provided (of course) along with an open bar and Maketto's Ramen Fries, which were delicious. Absolutely delicious.

The highlight of my evening was jamming out to the live band while they played "Never Scared" by Bone Crusher. Talk 'bout a throwback! Another highlight was not finding my car keys while standing in front of my car...in the rain. Downpour, really. I blame my big purse.

What a night! Thanks again, Chase, for giving me another great Taste of DC. I can’t wait for all the fun that’s in store this month with the Chase Branch Open House and other events coming up, where I'll have the chance to enjoy and embrace some of my favorite things about this incredible city.
