Today is my birthday.
I feel the same as last year...and the year before...and the year before that. Growing older doesn't phase me. What phases me is growing older and still not achieving/accomplishing what I need to do. I've always been told to not think about the past...the what ifs. "What has been done can not be undone". True, true. But, y'know, I can't help it. Sometimes, you just want that slight ability to turn back the hands of time. Anywho, despite all of that, I'm still grateful. I'm grateful for my life. I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for my friends. I'm grateful for anything that has given me joy this past year (which includes this blog and the opportunities and people I've met through of it). I thank God that He allowed me to see a complete year of my life and is now granting me a new year. I am truly grateful.
So, on that note -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
