I love my Faith 21 (now Forever 21+) black lace dress. I got this item almost 2 years ago, worn it so many effin' times within those years and yet I still believe I haven't worn it enough. So, you will definitely see it again on this blog (Mind you, it's already been shown on this blog
here and
here). You've been warned.
I paired it with this floral jacket I got from my local thrift store. It's sheer, it's lightweight, it's perfect. And since I'm geeked for the fall weather that came upon the DC area early, I wore my newly purchased black wedge booties from Avenue. Yes, Avenue. I'm telling ya'll, this store is seriously stepping its' game up. I am very much impressed.

I wore this outfit to A Diva State of Mind 3rd Year Anniversary party. It was held at Ozio rooftop. Keri Henderson, creator of A Diva State of Mind, invited her family, friends, and readers to share this great milestone. The happy hour event also held a fundraiser for Dress for Success Washington, DC, which recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary by launching
10 Campaign. Just donating $10 on the 10th day of each month will help Dress for Success reach their goal of promoting their three signature programs: Suiting, Career Center and Professional Women's Group.
