For the third pick of our Spring Trends Lookbook, each of us chose a different trend to try out. Call it the "Choose Whatever Trend We Want". So I chose Pleats, which I'm quite familiar with here and here.

It felt right to wear some Spring colors to match the nice weather. At first, I wasn't so sure about purple (the purse) being paired with light pink (the skirt). But seeing the final photos, the color combination works.
If tutu or tulle skirts ain't your thang, I'd suggest trying a full pleated midi skirt. You can still feel ladylike without all of the fussiness.
