Glorious

Because of today's cloudy, slightly nippy weather, I decided to post this outfit from my time in Houston. On this particular day, the weather was beyond. Spring-like, no humidity. Lots of wind (good thing when strolling around, bad thing when you're trying to take photos).

While there, I got to meet up with Chigi. I met her through my very good friend's sister. Recently (well, a couple years ago), her and her husband moved from MD to TX. And while there, she decided to start her own lifestyle blog, Chigi's World. Anywho, she took me to an outdoor shopping center where we chatted and took photos. Honestly, with the palm trees and beautiful weather, I thought I was in Miami or Beverly Hills or something.

This was my first time trying naked/barely there sandals. The pair I'm rockin' are from Sole Diva via Simply Be. For someone who possesses very wide very chunky feet, I was apprehensive of trying this style of shoes. With a skinny strap over the foot and a skinny strap around the ankle? That's it?! Oh dear. Talk about exposure! But I love it. Fat feet, be damned.
